Mamman Ali Abdallah holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He has served on the boards of Agricultural Guarantee Credit Scheme and Petroleum Training Institute, Effurum, and was Ministerial Representative on the Board of Trustees on Pension (Ore-Irele Oil Palm Company) and NIHORT Pensions.

David Kolawole Oladapo attended Uxbridge Tech College, London, North-East London University, London, Richmond upon Thames University, London and Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Nigeria where he obtained the following: MBcs, MCAN, MSc (Development Economics/Computer Studies). The Commission has a total of 456 officers cutting across the various levels; this number however does not include the Chairman and fifteen (15) Commissioners. The competences are as follows:

Brief History
When Nigeria gained her independence in 1960 from the British Colonial Authority, the Public Service Commission was entrenched in the constitution of Nigeria to perform the function of appointments, promotion and discipline in the Public Service; particularly as Government business were organized under the departmental Establishments
Functions
The FCSC exists to appoint persons to offices in the Federal/State Civil Services and to dismiss and exercise disciplinary control over persons holding such offices.
Commissioners
The Commissioners of the FCSC represent all states of the Federation.
