Procedure for Transfer/Secondment

The procedure employed is as follows:

1. All applications for transfer/secondment to posts on grade Salary Grade Levels 01 – 06 are determined by the Ministry/Extra-Ministerial Department of the applicants’ choice with returns forwarded regularly to the Commission;
2. All applications for transfer/secondment to posts on grade Salary Grade Levels 07 – 10 in any Ministry/Extra-Ministerial Department are processed by the Federal Civil Service Commission;
3. All applications for transfer/secondment to posts on grade Salary Grade Levels 12 and above shall be made in response to advertisements and shall be determined by the Federal Civil Service Commission;
