The Federal Civil Service Commission has successfully conducted the service wide 2011 Promotion Interview/Examination for eligible officers on the Directorate Cadres (GL 14 – 16) in the Federal Civil Service.
Assessment of the papers commenced on Wednesday, 11th September 2011 and ended on Saturday 14th October 2011.
A total of 3,569 officers on Salary Grade Levels 14 – 16 who had matured for promotion participated in the exercise. The breakdown of the candidates interviewed are as follows:
Out of the 3,569 candidates, 1,0407 i.e. 39.42% who passed the promotion examination at 60% mark and above and met all the criteria, including availability of vacancies in each grade/cadre have been promoted.
It would be recalled that the Exercise was held between 11th – 16th July 2011 in Abuja and Lagos for the Home Service, in the first leg and in four other centres for the Foreign Service, in the second leg.
